Who Am I?
My name is Beth Blake and I am currently completing the final year of my Bachelor of Primary Education at Monash University Peninsula. I grew up in Cannons Creek where I still live with my mother, father and five brothers and sisters and as you can imagine after growing up with five brothers and sisters, I am very good with children, and have extensive experience in dealing with 20 year old ones!
I have attended and immensely enjoyed my placements at Pearcedale Primary School and Tooradin Primary School (where I completed my Advanced Practicum) and have gained invaluable experiences that both schools offered liberally. As a primary school student myself, I attended Devon Meadows Primary School and completed my VCE in 2008 at Koo Wee Rup Secondary College. Throughout my years of schooling, I always possessed and expressed a great passion and enthusiasm for music and the performing arts. This interest has continued through to my tertiary studies and is something that I am always looking for ways to include in my own classroom one day.
